The book I read was Signal. The author of this great book is Cynthia Deflice. A boy named Owen is running down the street when he finds a girl who claims she is an alien. She tells him to find parts for a signal to call her parents down to earth. As they try to make the signal a cop she says is evil tries to find her .As Owen tries to find parts he meets people he call the dog people who not only have dogs but lots of cats too! When they make the signal the police officer finds them. It turned out that she wasn’t really an alien!
